About 85% of women experience some type of food aversion during pregnancy. Common aversions include meat, eggs, fish, veggies (especially leafy greens) and spices, while we tend to crave comfort foods, carbohydrates or anything bland. Food aversions are impossible to explain to someone who has not experienced them, aversion is not a strong enough word! Severe aversions are not something you can just get over and deal with, but you can find ways to help your body get the nutrients it needs!
